We have a 4 bedroom detached house covering 3 floors in a very nice area. I live with my husband and daughter but have another daughter that lives next door and a son that is married and has one little daughter.. We have a young small dog called poppy. At the end of our road we have a beautiful park with lakes and wildlife and many types of trees.

House Rules
I will not allow smoking in the house.
My guests may have use by arrangement of our laundry to wash their clothes.
I keep a tidy house and would wish that my guest respect that and keep their room in the same manner.
PLEASE NOTE that because of the COVID pandemic we have to change our sociable activities as a household. Our guests will now only have use of their bedroom and bathroom.. Our living areas are not available for the health and safety of both our guest and our family.. We,re so looking forward to the day that this will be over and we can get back to being normal again.

I had a great stay at Barbara's house. The room was lovely and always clean, the family was super friendly and helpful. It was like a second home to me. I can't recommend them enough!

I had a perfect stay at Barbara's house. She is a great landlady, and her husband was always willing to help. The house is beautiful, the room is very confortable. Everything is clean and in order. The neighborhood is perfect for runners or hikkers, there is the Tymor park just a one block from the house. There is a bus stop at 400 mts from the house, you can take the bus 15A to downtown, and 16 to the airport.
I give 6 stars to Barbara's house, I would certainly recommend her place.

I've stayed with Barbara for two weeks. It was a wonderful stay, Barbara, husband Eamonn and daughter Donna are very welcoming and friendly and didn't hold back whenever I needed something. They provide a very cozy environment for your stay. Interacting and chatting with them made me realize they form a beautiful family (I also got to know Barbara's daughter Shirley and her granddaughter as well). Then there is Poppy, the most cheerful dog you'll ever meet; I had plenty of fun with her and her playful welcomes were a sight of relief and warmth whenever I, dead tired from the day, came back to the house in the evening. The house is beautiful and very very well-kept and tidy and is in a tranquil neighborhood, with lots of green all around, and is very well connected with public transportation to both city center and the suburbs (bus routes 54a, 150 and 15a all within a few minutes walk).
I enjoyed my stay with Barbara thoroughly and I recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming place to stay in Dublin. Thank you Barbara, Donna and Eamonn, hopefully we'll meet again soon. LeoHost reply

Pour des raisons de santé, Barbara n'a pas pu nous héberger mais nous a gentiment communiqué les coordonnées d'un ami qui assure le même service d'accueil. Nous avons, donc passé un agréable séjour en Irlande. Un peu court, c'est pourquoi si l'envie nous prendra d'y retourner, nous gardons précieusement les coordonnées de Barbara afin de pouvoir enfin la connaître car nos échanges de mails ont été très agréables.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries).
