I got to stay in this wonderful home in 2018 and I absolutely loved it! Yuriko-san was unfortunately sick and hospitalized but Jin-san took care of me meanwhile. He created amazingly tasty breakfast every morning and we had a lot of fun conversations. Yuriko-san was finally able to come home on my last day and she was extremely energetic and fun to talk to. We talked about how she loves some korean actors and that she had gone to their concerts. Finally Jin-san was kind enough to drive me to nearest station when it was time for me to leave.
The room/washroom was extremely clean and you can use the laundry when needed.
This was the best host experience I have ever had and I highly recommend them!! Hopefully I get to go back there eventually! :)

Stayed at Jin san & Yuriko san’s home is one of my best memories in Tokyo.
I stayed for almost one month. As the other guests said, the room is comfortable, and the breakfast is rich & delicious. The most important is that they are so friendly and like family.
One day, I talked to Yuriko san that my classmates and I tried to cook the Japanese food 焼きそば however it tasted horrible. By the next few days, she cooked the delicious 焼きそば for me. It’s so sweet :)
I’ll definitely like to stay at their house again when traveling Tokyo. Highly recommend!

Yuriko and her husband took care of my teenage children when they stayed with them. The were caring, kind and helpful. The children enjoyed the cooked breakfast with salads and fruits and Yuriko's dinner was authentic Japanese home cook which were delicious.

Yuriko, they're very nice. I lived in the ground floor bedroom which just next to the front door, very convenient & everything you need found inside. Quiet area, public transports, town center all not far. Everyday breakfast provided very fresh & tasty. Highly recommend this house.

The house is located 1 km from the nearest metro station. If you don’t want to walk, you can use the bus No 44. I stayed in the single room on the ground floor and had everything I needed. The bathroom and toilet are on the first floor and shared. The room is next to the entrance, but Yuriko and Jin make no noise and respect your privacy. Yuriko prepared breakfast for me each day, simple but filling and varied. I enjoyed our conversations during breakfast, practicing my Japanese and commenting on everyday things and Korean drama :). During the day, I would be out. You can return any time you wish.
It was a pleasant experience and I would gladly come back. 色々ありがとうございました！

Jin and Yuriko were the best hosts I could have asked for. Incredibly kind and respectful, despite the language barrier. Their home cooking was fantastic as well. Could not recommend a better stay!

Wow! Enjoyed our stay with this lovely couple! House was so clean & though the first time going to the house was tricky but later it was easy.
The morning me & family were leaving Tokyo was drizzling & to our surprise Mr Yuriko offered to drop us at the train station all for free!

J'avais la chambre du bas. Ils ont une petite maison facile d'accès en métro (gare de Machiya). Le quartier est plutôt calme. Et j'ai eu des petits déjeuners légers comme à ma demande (je ne mange pas le matin). La communication est compliqué mais on s'en sort avec un peu d'anglais, des gestes et Google Translate.
Je recommande.I had the 1st floor room. They have a small house easy to access by metro (Machiya station). The place is calme. And I had light breakfast as requested (I don't eat the mornings). Communication is complex but we find a way to figure out with few English, hand mime and Google Translate.
I recommend.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
